Description The Cabana Check-In Team Members are responsible for warmly welcoming guests to the park and providing guests with information on how to get to their cabana. They must possess strong communication skills to professionally respond to guest inquiries via email and phone. Additionally, they are responsible for confirming next-day cabana reservations, adjusting as needed, including booking, moving, upgrading, and downgrading cabanas. The check-in Team Member must effectively communicate any changes to cabana bookings with the Coordinator, Supervisor or Cabana Lead to ensure smooth and organized operations. A friendly and professional demeanor is essential to provide an exceptional guest experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Must follow all health department requirements and maintain a clean working environment Ensure daily checklists are completed each day Read and respond to any guest emails daily Call guests to confirm next-day reservations on a daily basis Oversee the check-in process for guests with booked cabanas and shade loungers Work with Food and Beverage Admin to answer any guest questions regarding cabanas or shade loungers Assist guests in purchasing day-of or future cabana reservations Must be able to explain all cabana and park rules to guests checking in for a cabana Ensure POS and all peripherals in the check-in area is functioning properly and report any equipment failure Assigns team members to check-in stand and runner stations each day of operation Understands and supports the Typhoon Texas Culture Uses excellent judgement Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions Works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner Has excellent communication skills which includes the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in interactions with Guests, other employees, and Management This position may require you to step in for the cabana lead, also work in other positions, locations, and/or departments if needed Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and TABC Must be willing to complete all tasks given by higher leadership Requirements Must be 18 years or older May be required to stand for extended periods of time May be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs. May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain. Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work well with others Must be able to communicate effectively Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and/or TABC
