We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the role of Cabinet Builder. This full-time,1st Shift position is based in Mifflintown, PA, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork. A cabinet builder is responsible for the preparation, positioning, and assembly of the cabinetry parts based on product order specifications. The position requires a strong attention to detail, accountability to self and others, and interdepartmental communication. Support the CARE values of the organization. Commit to producing a quality product for our customers. Attach parts and subassemblies together to form completed units, using glue, dowels, nails, screws, and/or clamps Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together, or to press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces. Unclamp work pieces and remove them from machines. Use hand and power tools to install various components in the manufacturing of cabinets. Bore holes for insertion of screws or dowels, by hand or using boring machines. Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches, and drawer pulls, using hand tools. Produce and assemble components of articles such as store fixtures, office equipment, cabinets, and high-grade furniture. Verify dimensions, and check the quality and fit of pieces in order to ensure adherence to specifications Other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience in woodworking or carpentry preferred. Knowledge of how to add and subtract measurements. Proficient with reading measuring devices to include tape measures, straight ruler, and levels.
