Horizon Cabinetry

Responsibilities include

  • Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure precise sanding results.
  • Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Sanding MDF panels and Doors
  • Maintain and clean sanding equipment regularly.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of carpentry within in the kitchen, millwork, and furniture installation.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Capable of lift to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis

Work Conditions

  • Plant conditions.
  • Frequently noisy working environment.
  • Interacts with management, colleagues, visitors, and customers.
  • Overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 43 per week

Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
