Description:
Horizon Cabinetry
Responsibilities include
- Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure precise sanding results.
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Sanding MDF panels and Doors
- Maintain and clean sanding equipment regularly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of carpentry within in the kitchen, millwork, and furniture installation.
- Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Capable of lift to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis
Work Conditions
- Plant conditions.
- Frequently noisy working environment.
- Interacts with management, colleagues, visitors, and customers.
- Overtime as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 43 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
