THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled PCabinetry design and Programming Specialist who can bridge the gap between design and production.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will use your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to convert detailed kitchen designs into functional, manufacturable layouts using Cabinet Vision software. This position is crucial for ensuring that our designs are both aesthetically pleasing and practical to produce.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Certificate in a Trade or related field of interest
  • Construction and/or Woodworking knowledge
  • Previous experience with Cabinet Vision software is highly advantageous.
  • Initiative to learn and improve existing systems, with an interest in applying programming skills to enhance automation within our processes.
  • A forward-thinking mindset, open to mastering new tools and exceeding current standards in cabinet design and production.
  • Previous experience with CNC machines would be an asset
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret kitchen cabinet floorplans to develop accurate and detailed Cabinet Vision layouts.
  • Create comprehensive parts lists and track necessary components using advanced Excel functions.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues in design layouts, collaborating with design and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Streamline communication and documentation processes to enhance production efficiency and accuracy.
