Prince Telecom is hiring entry level Cable Installation Technicians in South Holland, IL and Chicago, IL to join our team and help connect America!
Compensation: $17/hr+
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Resolve, repair and install cable TV, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines.
• Ability to set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers and switches
• Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company issued devices and customer devices.
• Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.
• Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates

Customer service duties such as :

• Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
