We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications and computer networking, with hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand tools while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in telecommunications or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, including Ethernet configurations.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location: In perso

• Install and maintain cable systems for telecommunication services, including low voltage wiring and connections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ethernet networks, Cisco routers, and telephony systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on cable installations to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.
