Description

We’re hiring experienced Data Cabling Technicians to join a growing structured cabling team supporting commercial and public-sector projects across the Middle Tennessee area. This is a great opportunity for technicians who want consistent work, hands-on project experience, and growth into advanced systems (fiber, network testing, security/AV). 🛠 What You’ll Be Doing Independently pulling and routing low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) through ceilings, conduit, and J-hooks Performing high-volume data terminations (RJ45, keystone jacks, patch panels) using T568A/B standards Dressing, bundling, and labeling cable runs to meet project and industry standards Working in MDF/IDF environments and maintaining clean, organized infrastructure Navigating active job sites safely while working with hand and power tools ✅ What You Bring 2+ years of commercial cabling experience (this is not an entry-level training role) Ability to work independently without constant supervision Experience with: Cable pulling in commercial environments Data terminations and punch-downs Blueprint/layout interpretation (a plus) Comfortable working on: Ladders and lifts Active construction sites Tight spaces Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation ⭐ Bonus Qualifications OSHA 10 certification Experience leading small crews or mentoring others Exposure to fiber optics, testing/certification tools, or security/AV systems 💪 Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Stand, climb, and move throughout job sites daily Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clarksville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
