Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a CAD Admin to help us optimize and scale our design efforts across multiple teams and geographies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In your capacity as CAD Administrator , your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

• Act as the first point of contact for NX users, troubleshooting issues and providing technical support (Lvl2 & Lvl3) to front-end (NX) and back-end (Team Center)
• Collaborate with engineering to define and maintain design guidelines. Integrate and control the implementation of guidelines in NX
• Standardize 2D and 3D object templating, including drafting templates, object metadata, etc
• Create Model Based Definition (MBD) methodologies and best practices for creation of 3D-Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) in Part / Assemblies
• Define the strategy and insure consistency in utilizing reuse libraries
• Support the integration of advanced manufacturing tools (e.g., additive manufacturing, CAM, Electrical design, ++) within NX and Teamcenter
• Contribute to simulation-readiness and optimization of models;
• Optimize and forecast License & Token usage

In the role of CAD Administrator , you will have the following:

• An advanced degree in mechanical, aerospace or manufacturing engineering
• Expertise in NX Modules - Modeling, Sketching, Drafting, Assembly, UDFs and Part Family, NX Motion Simulation
• Experience in managing on-prem PDM infrastructure
• Knowledge of data conversions and interface formats (e.g. IGES, STEP, 3DPDF, JT, Parasolid)
• Working proficiency with Teamcenter 14.x & Active Workspace 6.2+
• Understanding of dependencies and interoperability of AM, CAM, CAE
• Fluent in English. German and French is an asse
