CAD/CAM Designer and Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design and engineering, with proficiency in various CAD/CAM software and manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for developing detailed designs and specifications for our products, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer requirements. The CAD/CAM Designer will collaborate with other team members to complete projects.
Projects involve many different products, including production parts, flat displays, 3 dimensional objects, machined signs, cabinetry, large store displays and tradeshow booths. The quantity may be a single prototype or many pieces of the same product. Production machines include CNC mills, routers and lathes. Most of the materials cut are composites, plastics, light metals and MDF.
The position also may include other duties, such as mill operating, sanding, production assembly, packaging, shipping and assisting with other projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Have a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
Be a High School graduate
Have good written and verbal communication
Ability to work as a team member
Self-motivated and positive work ethics
Have good math skills
Have a willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions
Be able to pass a drug screening

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of running a CNC mill and router
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Fusion, BOBCAD, Cimagrafi and Kubotek Key Creator are currently used)
Ability to work with 3D and 2D CAD
Ability to create 3D and 2D toolpaths
Ability to schedule and manage workflow
ability to manage and train team of operators
Have high attention to detail
