JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CAD/CAM Programmer with CNC Machining Experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for a variety of machining operations. This role requires hands-on experience in CNC machining and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and materials. This role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in CAD/CAM programming and CNC machining.
  • Proficient in Mastercam CAD/CAM software
  • Strong understanding of G-code, machining operations, and manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with both 3-axis and multi-axis CNC machines preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • CNC Machining certification required. Mastercam certificate required.

    Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Create and modify CAD models and CAM toolpaths for CNC machines using Mastercam software.
  • Generate G-code programs for CNC mills and/or lathes.
  • Collaborate with machinists to optimize tool paths and machining processes for efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds for a wide range of materials.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct test runs and troubleshoot programming issues on the shop floor.
  • Maintain organized documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations.
