ZELTWANGER CNC Manufacturing - USA manufactures specialized, high-precision parts and assemblies for a variety of industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and packaging. We are seeking a full-time CAD/CAM Programmer with prior experience programming for CNC machines. What you will do: * Create CNC programs at external workstations using CAD/CAM-programming systems. * Responsible for the CAM programming of 5-axis CNC milling and CNC-Mill-Turning machines for high precision machine parts, prototypes, spare parts and series parts. * Create work documents such as the tool list and the CAD drawing. * Program parts to meet customer specifications. In the event the customer does not provide digital data, the CAD/CAM Associate should take necessary steps to verify parts meet customer requirements. * Coach the CNC Operators regarding machine setup, tools, and machining parameters. Also use feedback from CNC Operators to incorporate into the programming. * Discuss programming, design, material, or process issues with customers. * Support continuous improvement of manufacturing by efficient use of materials and tools. Your profile: * CAD/CAM programming experience required. Mastercam experience preferred. * Professional experience in manufacturing * Ability to read complex customer drawings * Verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and very close attention to detail. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Supervisory and leadership skills. Responsibilities

Create CNC programs for 5-axis milling and mill-turning machines to produce high-precision parts and prototypes. Provide technical guidance to CNC operators and collaborate with customers to ensure parts meet specifications.
