Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a CAD Checker. This role is responsible for reviewing CAD and permit drawings for accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and communicating findings with Operators and Department Supervisors. This is a great opportunity for someone with blueprint reading skills and basic CAD knowledge, including recent graduates looking to grow their career. Key Responsibilities: Review CAD and permit drawings for accuracy and completeness Identify and document areas requiring review or correction Communicate effectively with Operators and Department Supervisors regarding drawing discrepancies Interpret blueprints and construction documents Retain and apply detailed product and process knowledge (training provided) Support multiple departments to gain a full understanding of canopy systems Ensure work aligns with company standards and core values Required Skills & Abilities: Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints Basic CAD knowledge (AutoCAD experience is a plus; classroom experience acceptable) Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Effective written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented with a flexible and resilient mindset Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of architectural design processes and construction documents Experience in the construction industry Prior structural steel drawing experience (a plus) Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Recent graduates with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer Ability to navigate all areas of the production facility Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed Must follow all safety policies and procedures Why Join Us?
