Quarry Manufacturing & Supplies have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Design Detailer to join our thriving team based in Coalville. Our Design team are growing and now require support in providing accurate, compliant and timely engineering CAD design drawings and BOM’s. The CAD Design Detailer will also have direct customer contact so excellent communication skills will be vital.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Full completion of all database information within company MRP system.
• Supporting documents and paperwork within company ISO9001 and 1090 framework
• Prepare and finalise detailed drawings, assemblies and BOM’s to supplied plant layout / machinery / structural engineering models.
• Small scale support design work to assist the engineering function.
• Provide technical support and advice to customer and colleagues
• Other administrative support work based within the design department.
• Update and implement existing design portfolio with Engineering Change Orders and revision control issued either from Manufacturing / Engineering.

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated team player with the desire to achieve. Relevant experience and a proven track record are important, along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, communicate effectively and use their initiative.
To be successful within this role you must be proficient with CAD software, (Solidworks preferably) alongside demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Experience of working in an engineering environment designing structural and mechanical products (ideally within a sheet metal / heavy fabrication background) would be beneficial.
