Our head office is searching for a CAD Design and Drafting Technician.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent AutoCAD proficiency
• Thorough knowledge of Ontario Building Code and various zoning by-laws, as it relates to commercial and industrial construction.
• A successful candidate must be a self-driven and independent individual, capable of working from the Perth office, as well as traveling as required for site visits.

• Design and drafting work including various site layouts and construction drawings specific to commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Attend on-site visits.
• Participate in meetings with the clients, project managers, and other professionals in the preliminary stages of the design process.
• Evaluate information to ensure compliance with various codes, zoning by-laws, and other regulations.
