We are a growing golf simulator company dedicated to delivering premium custom installations for residential and commercial clients. Our projects range from tailored in-home golf experiences to fully outfitted commercial simulator studios. We are seeking a talented CAD Designer / 3D Rendering Specialist to join our team full-time at our Virginia headquarters.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The CAD Designer / 3D Rendering Specialist will be responsible for producing detailed engineering and architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and project layouts to support the sale, design and installation of golf simulators. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to transform conceptual ideas into precise, client-ready designs.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting & Design Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CAD design and 3D rendering, preferably in construction, architecture, or engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar CAD/3D rendering software.
• Strong understanding of architectural layouts, construction principles, and material specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floorplans, and technical drawings.
• Experience producing realistic 3D visualizations and renderings for client presentations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external clients.

PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Experience with golf simulator design, sports facilities, or entertainment spaces.
• Familiarity with VR/AR rendering tools for immersive design presentations.
• Knowledge of construction codes, permitting, or acoustical design.

• Create and maintain 2D CAD drawings and 3D renderings for golf simulator projects, including room layouts, structural components, new simulator models, and technical schematics.
• Collaborate with the installation team, project managers, and clients to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Develop architectural and engineering drawings that comply with project specifications, site conditions, and safety requirements.
• Provide realistic 3D visualizations for client presentations and proposals.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Ensure all drawings and models meet internal quality standards and project deadlines.
• Maintain drawing libraries, templates, and documentation for consistent and efficient workflows.
• Support the team with technical insights during planning, design, and installation phases.
