JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings to support project development and execution. The role requires both technical expertise and a creative eye for design interpretation, with a clear understanding of project requirements and industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CAD drafting/design, preferably in the [fit-out / construction / joinery] industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; experience with SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or other CAD tools is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models based on project specifications.
• Convert conceptual sketches, design briefs, and ideas into professional technical drawings.
• Create shop drawings and as-built drawings for manufacturing and construction teams.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
• Maintain drawing standards, file naming conventions, and revision tracking in accordance with company procedures.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback, site measurements, and client approvals.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing conflicts or discrepancies during execution.
• Ensure timely submission of drawing packages and documentation in line with project deadlines.
