OVERVIEW

We currently have an opportunity for CAD Engineers from graduate level up to 2/3 years’ experience to continue to develop their career by supporting an OEM customer develop an existing project. A hybrid basis of 2 days home/3 days in the Expleo Preston, Belfast, Bristol or Chester offices is available for more experienced Designers. The role will involve being responsible for formulating technical solutions in CAD CATIA V5 ensuring that design standards and customer requirements are met within your design.
The role is open to permanent staff (preferred) and PSC (Outside IR35) candidates.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• CATIA V5 modelling and drafting (preferred).
• MS Office.
• Good Communication skills.
• Comfortable working within a team environment.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge design standards and processes.
• Experience in creating and delivering detail drawings.
• Familar with GD&T presentation on drawings.

EXPERIENCE

Graduate up to 2/3 years experience within a design position.

• Development of Catia V5 structural design models/drawings.
• Support to project meetings as required.
• Storage of files in a PLM system (e.g. Teamcentre).
• Implement technical solutions to ensure they are compliant with all relevant customer, regulatory, requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints.
