SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team at Mainland Catering Equipment Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and schematics of commercial kitchens, and liaising with customers both over the phone and on site in person. You will be expected to work along side directors and staff to oversee and aid in projects and deal with customer enquiries.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in AutoCADLT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to communicate confidently both over the phone and in person.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop CAD designs and schematics for commercial kitchens using AutoCADLT.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and purchasing department to arrange lead times.
  • Be competent and have experience with AutoCADLT and Microsoft office.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Maintain organised documentation of all design projects and revisions.
  • Carry out quotations for customers on directors instruction.
  • Be able to adapt to other responsibilities where necessary.
