Description
Delta Fabricating is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter / Designer to join our team. In this role, you create models and shop drawings per customer specifications. You will also assist in other activities that support manufacturing. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Create clear, complete, and accurate models and drawings that meet all customer requirements while following Delta Fabricating standards * Design jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing * Create routings for manufacturing * Completing engineer change request forms Qualifications: * Associate or Technical degree preferred (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) * Strong verbal and written communication skills, this position works directly with customers * Proficient in drafting and design * Good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail * Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization * Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail * Experience in solid modeling software – Autodesk Inventor preferred * Experience using ERP software – ECI M1 preferred * Other duties as assigned by Engineering Supervisor Physical Demands: * Prolonged periods of standing or sitting * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Benefits * 401(k) retirement plan * Health insurance * Dental and vision insurance * Paid time off and paid holidays
