JOB DESCRIPTION:

A.R.M. (USA) Inc. is searching for a SolidWorks Drafting / Designer, that possesses creative talent and experience to aid in manufacturing of Amusement Rides and Structural Steel Fabrications. This position is regular Full-Time, in office. Experience with Electrical and Hydraulic Schematics is a plus. A strong candidate will provide SolidWorks Certifications, or possess skills necessary to pass SolidWorks Certification Exams.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• 4+ years progressive CAD experience
• Possess SolidWorks Certifications, or
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
• Possess SolidWorks Certifications, or possess skills necessary to pass SolidWorks Certification Exams.

  Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Work Location: In perso

• Work both Independently and Directly with Senior Designer
• Attend & Participate in Production Meetings with Management Staff
• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including necessary projections, sectional views and standard specifications.
• Detail Fabrication Drawings with Weld Symbols and Required Procedures
• Maintain proper file management in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Verify work for accuracy, completeness of work, and compliance to standards.
• Communicate with personnel regarding new and revised drawings.
• Manage CNC HD Plasma Cutting Processes, create Nesting Files, Work Tickets, and maintain plate inventory.
