EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLE)

The ideal candidate will:

• Have worked in a design environment with sheet metal and plastic fabrication, and operated within an ISO9001:2015 environment
• Have worked in a manufacturing environment
• Have a working knowledge of Health & Safety

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to obtain a UK Government Security Check (SC) if required
• The use of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD in a professional environment. (Other CAD software in a professional environment will be considered if you have used Autodesk products previously)
• HND or above in Engineering
• GCSE grade 4 Maths and English (or equivalent)

• Produce engineering drawings and CAD Models using Autodesk Inventor
• Updating the current product range to reduce inaccuracies
• Raising and implementing Product Design Change Requests (PDCR)
• Producing customer approval drawings
• Identifying and implementing warranty reduction solutions
• Assisting the Technical Manager in maintaining the company’s technical databases, including assisting with technical files and circulating technical notes as necessary
• Keep all drawings and designs up to date and correctly controlled
• Creating parts lists, technical manuals and assembly manuals
