SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team in Scotland. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing and developing high-quality excavating buckets and attachments that align with our commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate should have experience with Solidworks CAD software.

• Design new,modify current & reproduce older parts & assembly components for manufacturing process from existing files and/or drawings.
• Carry out design changes based on workshop/cuestomer feedback
• Produce drawings for quotations to send to customers for approval
• Produce production drawings and/or alter current drawings
• Measure, design & produce parts required for customers alterations/repairs
• Produce CNC cutting programs for parts to be produced in the workshop
• Work with production team to file & store production drawings & programs for future use
• Price new / bespoke designs & jobs for customers quotations
• Proficient with CAD software(s) preferably Solidworks & Excel
• Excellent problem solving, good communication & teamwork skills
• Proven experience, if possible, designing for manufacturing
• Comfortable liaising with customers & suppliers
