Description
CAD Engineer Key Responsibilities: Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models according to project requirements. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure designs meet specifications and standards. Review design proposals and provide technical advice. Maintain and update CAD libraries, templates, and standards. Ensure all CAD documentation complies with company and industry standards. Assist in producing Bill of Materials (BOM) and material schedules as required. Support project tendering processes with accurate and timely design deliverables. Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, preferably within mechanical, Electrical, or Building services sectors. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and practices. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. A relevant qualification in engineering, design, or related field is preferred. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
