What You’ll Lead and Deliver Utilize industry-standard CAD software such as E-Plan Electrical, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks to create and modify engineering drawings. Apply strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles to support design requirements within the process automation industry. Prepare accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on specifications provided by engineers and project leads. Review, update, and refine existing drawings to ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and quality guidelines. Maintain organized documentation and drawing records, ensuring proper version control and easy accessibility for project teams. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including team leads and engineers, to clarify design details, resolve queries, and ensure alignment on project deliverables. Identify and troubleshoot drawing or design-related issues under the supervision and guidance of a senior engineer. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to support effective collaboration with internal project stakeholders. Manage multiple drawing tasks and project assignments simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery. Continuously learn, adapt, and adopt new design tools, drafting techniques, and engineering procedures as required by the organization. Requirements To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have: DAE in Electrical Engineering is required. DAE in Mechanical Engineering may also be considered based on relevant experience. 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience in CAD design, preferably within the process automation or engineering industry. Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as E-Plan Electrical and AutoCAD. Knowledge of SolidWorks will be considered a plus. Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical engineering principles relevant to automation and control systems.
