Owen Daniels are recruiting on behalf of a leading Manufacturing business in Wolverhampton for a CAD Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Salary: £35,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret and translate complex designs into clear, accurate representations. The CAD Technician will collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that all designs meet project specifications and standards.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketchup, SolidWorks is essential.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in design work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
  • Good communication skills to convey design concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles related to design is advantageous but not mandatory.
