Description We are seeking a CAD / Survey Manager to lead our drafting and survey operations, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of projects. This role requires a strong balance of project management and customer-facing skills, with less emphasis on deep technical CAD knowledge and more focus on leading teams, managing workflows, and ensuring client satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the AutoCAD department, overseeing production, quality assurance, and delivery of CAD and survey-related projects. Manage both internal drafting teams and offshore drafting partners to ensure efficiency and quality. Coordinate workflows, schedules, and deliverables to meet project objectives. Ensure consistency and accuracy of drawings through quality reviews and adherence to company standards. Support survey teams by interpreting data and delivering precise CAD outputs. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, clarifying requirements, and ensuring excellent customer experience. Implement and improve drafting and survey processes, standards, and technologies. Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to AutoCAD team members. Manage software tools, licenses, and libraries to support team operations. Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer-Aided Design, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or project management role. Strong background in project management or logistics with proven ability to coordinate multiple moving parts. Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interfacing with customers. Experience in survey data interpretation and floor plan/3D model production a plus. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Matterport, FARO, or similar tools preferred but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office-based environment with occasional site visits. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; occasional light lifting (up to 20 lbs). Requires strong visual, hand, and communication coordination to operate office and field equipment.
