CAD/REVIT TECHNICIAN

Projects and Technical Services, Facility Management
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available
SALARY: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum
POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CAD/Revit Diploma from a recognized program; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
• Proficient in preparing detailed working drawings, sketches, plans and electronic correspondence in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of Federal, Provincial and Municipal codes, regulations and bylaws
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD and Revit
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical emails/reports
• Knowledge and ability to export DWF, DWG and PDF formats from BIM
• Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to take instruction, work independently or in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Projects and Technical Services within the Facility Management department, the CAD/Revit Technician is responsible for updating and maintaining CAD/ Revit drawings for all Red River College Polytechnic campuses. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing CAD and REVIT based drawings for project drawings and construction drawings in coordination with other members of the project team.
