Description

Responsibilities

Support and deputise for the current UK CAD Technical Specialist responsible for Creo operation and configuration across all the LoBs within LEUK.
Develop and deliver training programmes to maintain current skill sets, develop new staff and keep up to date with best practice and latest enhancements in toolset capability.
Progress the development and maintenance of current toolsets, particularly TeamCentre Unified (TCU) and Creo, but also OMX, DFMPro, and other CAD packages.
Engage with the Mechanical and Optical standards team.
Contribute to and engage with Creo Expert and Drawings Authority forums, providing support and guidance on Creo technical issues and implementing improvements as required.
Provide support to the wider Creo user group and apply expertise in the toolset to resolve user problems as they arise, including mentoring new Creo users.
Support Digital Engineering Phase TCU Rollout and support the adoption of new DfX processes and tools, with particular emphasis on the MCAD aspects of TCU/IPEM/Creo integration.
Monitor developments in Creo packages, propose and deploy updates to our existing hardware and toolsets as required.
Influence training plans for the wider function with particular emphasis on Creo and CAD skillsets.
Engage with design and technical reviews to ensure Creo modelling best practice is being followed
