3D CAD TECHNICIAN – TEMPORARY STRUCTURES & CONSTRUCTION

We are looking for an AutoCAD-proficient technician with structural/construction drawing experience to join a growing team that delivers innovative and large-scale projects across the UK and beyond.

THE PERSON

We are seeking an experienced CAD technician with a structural or construction background. You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team, so a collaborative approach, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on technical position where you will be directly involved in the design development and build process of complex temporary structures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing and developing 2D layout drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD 3D) for structural and site planning purposes.
• Interpreting concept sketches, technical information, and client specifications to create accurate construction drawings for stages, grandstands, site layouts, and rigging systems.
• Preparing drawings to support planning applications and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Managing and maintaining the CAD archive to company standards.
