We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking a skilled CAD/MicroStation Technician for our New York/New Jersey office. The ideal candidate has a strong drafting and design background, with proficiency in relevant software. This role prepares design documents for engineering projects including highways, bridges, flood-control systems, and tunnels. The CAD Technician will be responsible for the following essential duties: Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using Bentley and Autodesk software. Develop plans, sections, elevations and details for projects of all sizes and technical complexities. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings. Transform rough initial designs and mark-ups into finished working documents. Draft detailed drawings of structures and installations. Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established standards. Compute volumes of excavations and fill for earthmoving projects. Assist designers and senior technicians with the preparation of engineering drawing package. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree plus four years of related experience or Associates plus six years of related. experience or HS/GED + eight years of related experience. Advanced proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD including AutoCAD Civil 3D. Autodesk Certification. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AutoCAD. Experience working with New York Metro Transportation projects. Additional Information Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
