Overview Snyder & Associates' Gladstone, MO office has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Technician/Designer to work in the creation of detailed drawing and construction plan preparation in civil, transportation and utilities engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a professional and positive attitude with a strong work ethic; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the flexibility to work both with a team or independently. Responsibilities Develop and prepare engineering drawings using practical CAD knowledge for assignments supporting land survey projects and civil engineering design efforts. Work closely with land surveyors, engineers and other designers to ensure coordinated projects. Compile data and perform calculations required for preparation of plans and drawings. Assist with hydraulic analysis of storm sewer systems. Prepare consistent plans and engineering drawings. Qualifications 1+ year1 experience civil engineering/infrastructure plan production AutoCAD experience required Associate's Degree in CAD preferred or Certificate in Drafting, or an acceptable level of CAD training.
