If this sounds like you, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technician / CNC Operator to join our team.

Sound interesting? We’re looking for an organized, results-focused individual with strong technical expertise for this important client facing position. Using your strong interpersonal and communication skills you will conduct product demonstrations, install equipment and software, and train and support clients. You have a valid Alberta driver’s license, a current Canadian passport and are available for domestic and international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical skills, hands-on experience, and a willingness to learn. The following qualifications are considered assets:

  • CNC machining and CAM programming experience
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and operating industrial machinery
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Robotics, mechanics, or hydraulics
  • Electronics, basic electrical systems, or motion control
  • Information processing or software development
  • Bonus points if you’re ping pong certified

SKILLS

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Committed to continual professional development, learning and growth
  • Strong ability to know the difference a Tim Hortons and Hoopla donut

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the installation and configuration of Streamline Automation equipment and software at client sites worldwide, with full training and mentorship provided
  • Develop the skills to deliver technical support to clients, including diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues
  • Assist in preparing and conducting product demonstrations and end-user training, gradually taking ownership as your expertise grows
  • Engage in ongoing learning to build a strong understanding of CNC technology, automation systems, and Streamline’s products
  • Support software and hardware testing processes, contributing to quality assurance and product development efforts
  • Learn to create and maintain clear, technical documentation—including user guides, training materials, and internal reference documents
