FREELANCE CAD TECHNICIAN – BESPOKE SECURITY DOORS (REMOTE)

Location: Remote | Job Type: Freelance | Pay: Per Project
We are a specialist manufacturer of bespoke security doors; steel core and clad with wood for high-end residential and commercial applications. We’re looking for a skilled CAD Technician to support our team on a freelance basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Ability to interpret briefs

ROLE OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings ahead of manufacture. This includes generating CAD files used for both metal fabrication (via AMADA punch machines) and wood machining (via HOMAG CNC routers).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed manufacturing drawings based on client specifications and internal designs.
• Produce CAD/CAM files compatible with:
• AMADA CNC punch machine (for steel)
• HOMAG CNC machine (for wood cladding)
• Ensure all designs meet technical and aesthetic requirements.
• Liaise with our production team to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
