THE CANDIDATE: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within the utilities, civil engineering, or construction sectors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with other design software is an advantage).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.

THE ROLE.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our growing team. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs for utility projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and update CAD drawings for utility projects in line with project specifications.
Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet client and regulatory requirements.
Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed.
Assist in producing as-built drawings upon project completion.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Support the wider design team with technical queries and problem-solving.
