A.T.McLaren Limited is a Hamilton, Ontario based surveying firm, which specializes in legal and engineering surveys. For 55 years we have and continue to provide diverse and challenging projects for a broad range of clients including property owners, builders, developers and Government Agencies throughout the Hamilton-Wentworth, Halton, Niagara Regions, and Wellington area. Our team consists of 25 driven professionals ranging from Ontario Land Surveyors, CAD Technicians, Field, and Administrative staff.
We are currently seeking a Junior CAD Technician/ Draftsperson who will be responsible for calculating, drafting survey plans with precision and accuracy.
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with CAD drafting. Experience working with legal reference plans, site and grading plans, topographic and boundary surveys, real property reports, subdivisions, and various types of condominiums would be considered an asset but is not mandatory.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English.
• Experience using MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Working with CAD is considered an asset
• Familiarity with requirements of provincial and municipal planning guidelines is considered an asset
• Ability to participate in project meets and coordinate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
