ABOUT US:

Our premier Landscape Architecture firm in Naples, Florida, boasting over 25 years of excellence in the industry. Renowned for our innovative designs and unwavering commitment to quality, we are currently expanding our team and seeking a dynamic CAD Technician to join our ALL-STAR group.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a skilled CAD Technician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar design firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Landscape Architects and Project Managers, contributing to Conceptual Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation for a diverse range of projects, including waterfront resorts, hospitality ventures, luxury residential landscapes, community design, and various commercial endeavors.

PRODUCTION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Adherence to Office Standards for construction documents, permit drawings, and graphics.
Proficient in AutoCAD and LandFX.
Rendering expertise in Photoshop.
Presentation creation using InDesign.
Extensive experience in Hardscape Design and documentation, including plans for monument signs, pools, paving, walls, water features, fire features, and
custom landscape elements.
Additional qualifications: 3-D modeling.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS:

Excellent Time Management skills.
Knowledge of submittal processes for various municipalities in Southwest Florida and surrounding areas.
Other Requirements:
Formal training in AutoCAD or equivalent relevant education/experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a design firm.
Proven AutoCAD skills.
Strong PC/IT skills (MS Office, Adobe, etc.).
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
Team player and excellent collaborator.
Participation in firm-wide Quality Control efforts.
Willingness to assist in day-to-day operations, including errands and overall organization of files.
Contribute to the improvement of OPi as a company by researching and recommending new opportunities, service improvements, and quality
enhancements.

EDUCATION:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

AutoCAD: 3 years (Preferred)
Design firm: 3 years (Preferred)
