POSITION DESCRIPTION

Perigee Consulting is looking to expand our design team and is accepting resumes for a CAD technician (0-10 years of experience). In this role, you will work closely with engineers to create accurate CAD drawings for civil and structural engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the engineering field while contributing to meaningful projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Courses OR work experience using CAD, Revit, and/or Civil3D
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Civil or structural drafting experience preferred

• Assist in the creation of detailed CAD drawings and plans for civil and structural engineering projects (e.g., site plans, structural details, grading plans, utility layouts).
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to understand design requirements and ensure accuracy in drawings.
• Maintain and update CAD drawings, making revisions as required.
• Prepare drawings for submission to regulatory agencies, contractors, and clients.
• Support the engineering team with documentation and data management related to project drawings.
• Follow company standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance with industry codes and regulations.
