This position would be based in our Minneapolis, MN, St. Paul, MN, Fargo, ND, Bismarck, ND, Madison, WI, or Chicago, IL office. The individual in this position would provide support for our design and plan development processes related to use of Bentley and Autodesk software and platforms, such as OpenRoads Designer (ORD), ProjectWise, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. They would also be responsible for the implementation of CADD standards and workspaces related to DOT and municipal clients and preparation of plans in accordance with these standards. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain digital design support resources for Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer, for example: templates, seed files, user interface elements, and automations. Assist I.T. staff and/or provide direct end-user support for digital design applications, while meeting SLAs for incidents and requests in an I.T. ticketing system. Track recurring issues to identify opportunities for automation or process improvement. Develop and present training material, including live training and on-demand video content for OpenRoads Designer and Civil 3D in coordination with the D2O team. Develop, evaluate, and update workflows for digital design modeling and plan production. Develop and maintain process and standards documentation for SRF digital design technology and applications. Implementation of CADD standards in compliance with DOT workspaces and municipal client standards. Support project delivery in common data environments such as ProjectWise and the Autodesk Construction Cloud. Participate in and contribute to meetings related to digital design technologies and corporate strategic initiatives. Work under the direction of Digital Design Leads and the Senior Digital Design Manager for day-to-day project and task execution. Requirements Required Qualifications: BS or Associate degree (experience may be considered in lieu of degree). 7+ years CADD experience. A minimum of 4 years of CADD design and drafting experience with current editions of OpenRoads and Civil 3D environments is preferred. Experience with AECO common data environments. A willingness to learn, adapt, grow, and be a team-oriented professional. Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures. Knowledge of local Department of Transportation standards and Bentley Workspaces. Established ability to coordinate with engineering staff to develop production packages. Ability to manipulate files in Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer. Ability to draft plans and drawings from engineer-provided markups. Ability to work within Windows 10 operating system environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with file sharing, document management, and collaboration tools. Strong professional verbal and written communication skills within a team environment. High level of attention to detail.
