Description Barton Associates is looking to hire a BIM/CADD Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers to perform a wide variety of drafting and modeling duties that utilize Computer-Aided Design/Drafting (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software in developing mechanical and electrical system designs. Additional duties as assigned to support the design team and project manager. Requirements Registered in a two-year degree or certification from a trade school or technical school preferred or equivalent years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing drafting. Solid understanding of math and science as well as understanding of their technical specialty. Working toward AutoCAD certification and/or BIM/REVIT certification. Intermediate level working with Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Responsibilities
The technician will perform drafting and modeling duties using CADD and BIM software to develop mechanical and electrical system designs. This involves close collaboration with Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
