About the Assignment You will join an automotive engineering environment focused on vehicle attributes and user experience. In this role, you will contribute to the development of future vehicles by strengthening deliverables related to the installation of vibrating components and supporting design decisions from an NVH perspective. You will work closely with design teams and program stakeholders, combining simulation expertise with analytical insight to improve system performance and help drive new methods and ways of working. Job Description Suggest and perform simulations of noise and vibration for systems such as propulsion systems, AC compressors, fans, blowers, pumps, and electric motors. Analyze complete vehicle NVH behavior and evaluate concepts and functions from an NVH perspective. Collaborate with design departments to provide technical input and propose improvements. Support car program teams with requirement setting at system level. Communicate analysis results and guide design work based on NVH findings. Lead assignments when relevant based on experience and knowledge. Contribute to the development of improved or new methods and guidelines. Requirements High competence in vibration isolation, structural dynamics, and applied acoustics. Competence in finite element simulations. Experience working with complete vehicle simulations. Experience in structural dynamics, NVH analyses, and installation of vibrating components. Comfortable using ANSA, HyperMesh, Nastran, Matlab/Python, and MS Office. MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering, technical acoustics, engineering physics, or a similar field.
