Evaluate and iterate designs through simulation results and experimental validation. Plan and execute necessary experiments to gather data for design inputs and improvements. Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and collaborate with drafting teams to produce precise engineering drawings. Design and analyze joints, assemblies, and interfaces considering material behavior and load paths. Incorporate AI-based advancements in simulation and design optimization where applicable. Work cross-functionally with manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet design-for-manufacturing (DFM)standards and integrate seamlessly into production. What Makes You a Great Fit 5+ years of experience in structural and composite design within the automotive or allied engineering domains. Proficiency in one or more FEA software tools such as Ansys Mechanical, Workbench, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, PATRAN, Siemens NX, or equivalent. Strong understanding of composite materials, including micro and macro mechanics, classical laminate theory, and failure theories. Solid grasp of strength of materials, mechanical and structural design principles, and finite element methods. Working knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or equivalent programming tools for automation and analysis. Familiarity with composite manufacturing methods and design-for-manufacturing best practices. A B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering disciplines, with strong academic performance (top-tier institutions preferred). Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving and innovation. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across design, analysis, and manufacturing teams.
