Referral bonus program Tuition reimbursement HSA Medical plan option with annual company contribution Perks at Work – discounts on shopping, travel & more Proven continued business growth for future opportunities What You’ll Do Troubleshoot and repair automated systems, PLCs, and robotic devices Support and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLC), VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems Install, test, and calibrate instrumentation (level, temperature, flow) Maintain and update electrical schematics and control documentation Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, and other automation platforms Fabricate, install, and test custom electrical panels and power distribution systems Perform regular calibration and maintenance on instruments and equipment Ensure proper operation of electrical and automation systems across the site Document control logic, calibrations, testing results, and system changes Maintain safe practices and comply with electrical safety standards Assist with automation upgrades and continuous improvement projects Perform other duties as assigned Requirements What You’ll Need High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of hands-on experience in: Electrical instrumentation and calibration PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, etc.) VFDs, motion control systems, and analog/digital circuitry Electrical and control system documentation (reading and creating) Strong understanding of electrical safety practices Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data/charting tools Familiarity with tools and equipment such as: Digital multimeters (DVOM) Calibration tools and hand tools Conduit bending and fabrication tools Strong math, electronics, and computer skills Ability to work independently and within a team Technical training or certifications in electronics, industrial automation, robotics, or power systems (preferred)
Responsibilities
The CAE Technician will troubleshoot and repair automated systems, PLCs, and robotic devices while ensuring the proper operation of electrical and automation systems across the site. They will also assist with automation upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
