ABOUT THE ROLE

About Changan
Changan Automobile, a prominent Chinese automotive manufacturer with a global footprint, is expanding its presence in the European market. Having established design and R&D centres in Europe since the early 2000s, Changan is now reinforcing its commitment to the region with a new European headquarters in Munich. Starting this summer, the company will launch operations across various European markets, introducing a lineup of vehicles that combine European design sophistication with cutting-edge Chinese technology. Focused on innovation and quality, Changan is excited to offer intelligent, stylish, and sustainable mobility solutions tailored to meet the needs of both Europe and the UK.
About the Role
This role is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and operations of IT systems for the automotive OEM in the European region. Key responsibilities include promoting dealer-facing systems (e.g., DMS), integrating with third-party platforms, providing local IT and security support, feeding back local requirements, and delivering localized solutions. Solid system integration experience, project management skills, regulatory awareness, and intercultural communication abilities are required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the deployment and operations of DMS, CRM, and related systems across Europe. Ensure effective adoption across dealer networks and work with HQ to support continuous system optimization.

  • Gain deep insights into country-specific business processes and pain points, and work with HQ product managers to translate them into actionable product features.

  • Provide daily support for local IT operations including infrastructure, and device management. Implement HQ security policies and ensure local compliance with GDPR and data protection laws, including access control, audit logging, and incident response.

  • Lead integrations with external systems such as dealers, banks, logistics providers, and warehouses. Manage interfaces using API, EDI, SFTP, etc., and coordinate testing, documentation, and acceptance.

  • For country-specific requirements not supported by HQ, design and implement localized IT solutions such as local compliance reports, BI systems, and invoicing tools.
