Job Overview

We are seeking a Cafe Assistant (must be over 18 this is a permanent position so not suitable for students) over lunch periods only so 3 hours on average per shift 2-3 times a week with occasional weekends too to join our team at a small eco vintage cafe in the heart of the town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, assisting in the daily operations of the cafe.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas
• Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude

• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations
  Waiting on tables and clearing
  Barista experience

  Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable

• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and in your own
• Willingness to learn and help wherever needed
  Barista experience an advantage

  Please be aware 3-4 weeks a year we are closed so no work and this is a zero hour contract
