Ballyhass Adventure Group are now recruiting Cafe Staff for the 2025 season.
We are passionate about the outdoors and believe that we offer a gateway into healthy outdoor lifestyles through our introductory and instructor lead outdoor experiences.

The successful candidates will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to providing customer service with attention to detail. Previous experience working with coffee is not essential but is preferable.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafe or food service environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Prepare and assist with food preparation, setting up counters and merchandising.
• Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take orders accurately, and provide a fast, friendly and efficient level of customer service. A professional and polite manner is essential.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the cafe, including cleaning tables, countertops, and equipment, as well as restocking supplies as needed. Follow proper food safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours, including assisting with tasks such as food preparation, dishwashing, and restocking inventory. Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
