Bank Cafe is looking for an experienced Barista aged 18+ to join our friendly team. We are a welcoming, community-focused coffee shop serving quality hot and cold drinks, cakes, and light meals to a loyal customer base.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You should already have hands-on barista experience, be confident using commercial espresso machines, and know how to prepare a variety of drinks to a high standard while keeping service speedy and friendly.
What you’ll do:
Prepare and serve a range of coffee, tea, and cold beverages to consistent quality standards
Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash accurately
Keep the café clean, tidy, and fully stocked
Assist with light food preparation and presentation
Deliver excellent customer service with a smile – every time
Work effectively as part of a small, supportive team
What we’re looking for:
Essential: Previous barista or café experience, including espresso machine operation
Strong understanding of coffee preparation and drink presentation
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while staying calm and professional
Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings as required
Reliable, punctual, and willing to help in all areas of the café
Immediate start available for the right person
