We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with barista experience being a plus.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.

• Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for order totals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations during busy periods.
