Collaboration is a key part of this role, involving recruitment, planning, and working alongside a creative team to bring fresh energy and vision to the environment.   You are: * Convinced that a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s life * Committed to keeping your family as your first ministry * Dedicated to your personal study of God’s Word  * Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life * An excellent and generous steward of your personal finances * Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keeping * Deeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurting * Excited about global missions and local outreach - you want to change the world  * A part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circle  * Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms to live a life above reproach, and that is aligned with our Leadership Covenant   * Making the café more efficient and profitable as well as enjoyable during its hours of operation. * To reach a certain level of professionalism and sustainability with café volunteers    You will: * Shop/order from a wide variety of vendors * Train and schedule volunteers * Prep items for all services * Oversee the café floor during hours of operation * Ensure the kitchen is well stocked with paper/plastic products * Order for the church to keep all ministries stocked for weekly service and special events * Perform monthly deep cleaning of all café equipment * Perform deep cleaning and restocking of the church kitchen in the west building * Perform other department-related tasks as needed and assigned by the Café Supervisor.    You have: * Experience in hospitality * Ability to plan for special events and calculate food costs. * Love for serving the Lord and his people    What you are required to know: * We are an EEO employer. * You may have to bend, sit, or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 35 lbs. * This is a part-time (20 Hours/week) position * You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.    It would be incredible if: * You love what you do and have fun doing it! * You can hold your own with our resident team of foodies and pop culture mavens.   Work Schedule: Staff culture is important to what we do. Responsibilities
Manage daily café operations, including ordering supplies, prepping items, and overseeing the floor during service hours. Train and schedule volunteers while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen and café areas.
