JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting in various aspects of cafe operations. The Cafe Assistant Manager will support food preparation, manage inventory, provide excellent customer seervice and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a cook, at least 2-3 years.
  • Familiarity with casual dining experiences .
  • Barista or Bartending, at least 1 year.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks and work effectively with others.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices, safety regulations, and culinary techniques is essential.
  • Prior experience in restaurant management or supervising roles will enhance your application.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service of menu items.
  • Operate the POS system for cash handling and transaction processing, including experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred.
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and running food.
  • Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service quality.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with management on shift management tasks, including supervising staff during busy periods.
  • Participate in kitchen management activities, including food production and quality control.
    Food Handler’s License is required.
