JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an assistant manager who genuinely enjoys working with the public to join our team. As our assistant manager you will work closely with the owner/manager in ensuring smooth cafe operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires a passion for the food industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to think on your feet.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation, baking, and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems
  • Supervising or team management experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
